When a contract is approaching expiration or requires a decision, there are two main ways to handle this in Verified Contract Management:
You can either:
Go to the homepage where you can view your current tasks and notifications, or
Click directly on the link in the email you have received containing information that an action is required.
As contract owner you can view your tasks under "My tasks".
As administrator you will see all tasks that are about to expire – including those assigned to other users.
When you click on a task, you will be taken to the decision view for the relevant agreement. There you can make a decision regarding the next steps.
You have two options:
Extend the agreement:
A proposed new contract period based on the previous one will be shown. You can manually adjust the start and end dates as well as the notice period. The previous contract period is always displayed for clarity.
Terminate the agreement:
You confirm that the agreement is terminated and it will be marked as terminated in the system.
Once you have made your selections, click Save. The agreement will then be updated with the new information.
After you have saved:
The task will disappear from the start page.
The agreement now has an updated period – for example, with a new end date, which in this case is set to 2035, and a new notice period, e.g. 2034.
