In certain situations, it may be desirable for users to only be able to view contracts – without the ability to edit or supplement them. For this purpose, there is a Viewer mode that you can easily activate for folders in the contract list.
Go to your list of contracts.
Select the folder for which you want to restrict editing permissions.
Click on "Manage access".
A view will appear where you can see which users or groups have access.
For example: "Only administrators have access at this time".
To add a new user or group:
Click on "Add".
Select the group or user to be granted access.
Select permission level:
Editor (default): Full editing rights.
Viewer: Read-only access – no changes allowed.
Click on "Add" and then "Save".
We recommend that you manage permissions at the group level rather than at the individual level. This makes it easier to:
Add or remove users from a group.
Achieve better overview.
Manage access in case of e.g. personnel changes.
