Release 34 is a major update in Tagd with a focus on simplifying the registration, review, and management of agreements and contract periods. Interfaces and workflows have been updated to become more intuitive and provide better overview.
In this article, we go through the most important new features and how you work with them in practice.
Just as before, all uploaded agreements end up in the Inbox. The difference in Release 34 is what happens when you click on an agreement.
When you open an agreement, you will now arrive at a review page instead of an editing form.
The page displays all information that the AI has extracted from the agreement
The information is presented in an easy-to-overview format
No fields need to be edited if you are satisfied
Agreements that have not yet been reviewed manually are marked with a yellow header:
Clearly shows that the agreement has not been reviewed by a human
Reminds you that AI can make interpretations that need to be verified
When you review an agreement, there are now three clear options:
Select this option if:
All information is correct
You do not need to adjust any fields
Steps:
Select which folder the agreement should be placed in
See which users have access rights to the folder
Click Review
Result:
The yellow header disappears
The review time is saved
The agreement is removed from the inbox
Corresponds to the previous edit/review page.
Here you can:
View the agreement on the right and all fields on the left
Adjust all agreement fields
Set or change the agreement owner
Select folder and permissions
When you save:
The agreement is marked as reviewed
It disappears from the inbox
It receives a review date
Use this if you:
Want to organise the agreement immediately
Are not able to review it right now
The agreement is moved from the inbox to the selected folder and can be reviewed at a later time.
For agreements with automatic renewal where the current period is active, the following applies:
The agreement is displayed with a yellow header until it has been reviewed
An automatic task is created for future action
You will receive a reminder when the agreement needs to be reviewed or managed
You can choose:
Mark as reviewed directly
Or perform a detailed review
A common scenario when uploading older agreements.
Example:
Original term: 2022–2023 (expired)
The agreement has automatic renewal
Suggests a current contract period based on the terms
Creates a task with a proposed decision date for the agreement
Clearly indicates that the agreement has not yet been reviewed
When you review the agreement:
Original period is saved
Current period is determined
Decision date is set and used for future reminders
Release 34 introduces Default user – a system user that is used when the contract owner is unknown.
When it is not possible to determine who is the contract owner at upload
To ensure that contracts always have a responsible person
Administrator can control that notifications are sent to Default user
Easy to filter all contracts with Default user as contract owner
Possibility to mass update contract owners to the correct person at a later stage
Management of contracts approaching termination or decision dates has been simplified.
In the list of upcoming tasks, you can:
View contracts that are approaching the decision date
Click directly on the contract and take action
Terminate contract
Extend contract
When extending, the following is displayed:
Current contract period
The contract’s extension terms
Proposed new contract period (automatically filled in)
All information can be adjusted manually if needed.
When you extend:
New contract period is saved
New task is created with the next decision date
The contract is kept continuously updated
Release 34 makes it:
Faster to review contracts
Easier to understand contract periods
Clearer to manage automatic renewals
Smoother to ensure accountability via Default user
Easier to extend or terminate contracts at the right time
The goal is for you to spend less time on administration and never miss important contract decisions.
