Upload contracts

This section describes how you upload contracts in the system

There are several ways to add agreements to Tagd. You can upload files directly, send them by email, or connect an e-signature service so that signed agreements are added automatically. All agreements end up in the inbox.

Drag and drop

Drag the agreements you want to upload and drop them into the upload box on the overview page. You’ll see when the agreements are uploaded.

You can also click Upload agreements. The button is available on every page in Tagd.

Duplicates

If an agreement already exists in Tagd, you’ll receive a warning. You can then choose whether to import the agreement anyway or dismiss it.

Send by email

Each account has its own email address, which is displayed next to the upload box. Anything sent to this address ends up in the inbox.

The email address is especially useful when:

  • you’ve received an agreement by email and want to forward it to Tagd

  • you have agreements on paper. Scan them and send them to the address.

Tagd converts both text documents and scanned images into contract text that can be analyzed.

Connect an e-signature service

If you connect your e-signature service to Tagd, signed contracts will automatically arrive in your inbox. You can do this under Integrations, preferably when you set up the account.

Tagd currently supports most e-signature services on the market:

  • Addo Sign

  • Assently

  • DocuSign

  • GetAccept

  • Krebitsign

  • Oneflow

  • Penneo

  • Scrive

  • Verified

Contracts with multiple files

If an email or agreement from the e-signing service contains several files, you need to choose which file is the main file. The agreement will then have the status Awaiting selection in the inbox.

  1. Click the agreement in the inbox.

  2. Choose which file is the main file.

The other files will be added as attachments to the agreement.

Importing many agreements

If you have a large number of agreements to import during setup, we’d be happy to help. Contact our support team at [email protected] and we’ll take it from there.

During the import, we can also load the associated metadata, for example if you have information stored in a previous contract management system.
