In this section, we'll go through how you work with contracts in Tagd – from overview to follow-up and tasks.
When you log in to Tagd, you'll land on the home page. Here you see:
The inbox (only for admins) with new contracts that need to be registered
Contract periods that need to be reviewed, e.g.:
Contracts that have expired
Contracts where the notice period is coming up
My tasks – a list of personal tasks related to your contracts
Note: You also get email notifications about events based on the settings you or admin have chosen.
To the right on the start page there’s a summary:
Total number of contracts
Breakdown by contract status:
Breakdown by contract types:
To start working with contracts:
1. Click on the Contracts
2. Here you’ll see the folder system that’s set up for your organization
3. Click a folder to see its contracts
4. Click on a contract card to open and check the details
When you open a contract you'll have access to the following:
Direct link to the PDF document
Information about:
Contract owner
Date of last review
Agreement type and terms
Timeline on the right:
Created date
Start and end date
Termination period and decision date
- Today's date
Parties (your organization + counterparty)
Tags
Comments
Permissions (who has access to the document)
Possible linked contracts (e.g. attachments or sub-agreements)
For accounts with the "Details & Insights" add-on, two extra tabs will show:
Agreement type-specific questions and answers, for example for lease agreements:
Type of premises
Area
Property designation
Reference to page and paragraph in the agreement
General legal questions asked for all agreements, for example:
Is there a penalty clause?
How are disputes handled?
Which jurisdiction applies?
You can document everything related to a contract:
Add notes (e.g. from meetings or calls)
Attach files
Click on Save – the event is logged with date and user
The Files tab contains:
The original contract document
Any attachments
Option to upload additional documents
Tasks are divided into two categories:
Created automatically, e.g. decision date before termination
Click the task to take action (e.g. end or extend contract)
Add tasks manually - fill in:
Description
Responsible person
Deadline
The task appears in the list and on the timeline.
When the task is done, click Mark as completed and it will be removed from the task list.
With the menu button up in the top right, you can quickly:
Edit the contract
Open the PDF file
Copy a shareable contract link
Manage permissions
Mark as finished
Delete the contract from the system
